The park is surrounded by two villages of Golaman Pazin and Paul Shroub. The two villages have the greatest impact on the maintenance of the park due to their very proximity to the enclosed area. The two villages of Comas and Tel have a common road with parts of the park. .
The topography of the area consists of a relatively low altitude hill, with its domains forming a forest area suitable for the forest park. In the park area, the hills are taller than other areas, with the highest elevations 1247 m above sea level and other elevations 1222 m and 1187 m high, and most of the park’s area includes the slopes of these heights and their wide valleys.
The lowest point of the park is located in the northwestern part of the mountain range, next to the village of Paul Sourab, with a height of 1100 meters above sea level.
The height difference between the highest point of the park and its lowest point is less than 150 meters, which indicates the topographic features of the semi-mountainous region to the back of the park area.
The park is located north of the Khorramabad River and the agricultural lands around the river, from the east to the dirt road of the village of Gholaman, and from the west and south to the Shoorab River.
The plant species make the Shorab forest park a car. The canopy cover of trees and shrubs is between 10-25%, and there are more than 20 plant species in the park in terms of diversity and mixing. The dominant vegetation is the Iranian oak parquet and Pine Broussia.
